I own both Nvidia and AMD GPUs so I can tell with outmost confidence that Nvidia drivers unlike AMD drivers are problem free at least for basic stuff like gaming and video decode and encode. I can't claim how it fares in other workload, maybe there are indeed issues in other workloads.

"vladx then write your own drivers.."

Thanks but no thanks, I'd rather pay for Intel and Nvidia who can hire competent software engineers and a proper QA team.

then it must be just you vlad.. cause i have no issues either way.. and i have vid cards..that are a tad old.. still in use from both in comps..where i just need a vid card...

why not ??? sounds to me like you think you would write better drivers... then amd or nvidia would...

Like I said, neither Intel's iGPUs or Nvidia cards gave me any issues, while the RX480 I have went from working to glitchy and back in certain games with each drivers update. Like I said, QA is pretty much non-existant at AMD.

And now the newest and hottest Radeon 5700 XT is full of gfx issues in games, so indeed the infamous reputation of AMD's drivers is well deserved to this day.

If the multi-core performance is nearly 2x how are those 16 threads shitty? You don't make sense.

The drivers themselves are actually excellent. Install them without installing the crap software in v12.

(Unpack the installation files, cancel the installer, go to device manager - gpu, find driver, done)

    "4 fast cores > 16 shitty cores. "

We have an Intel moron who can't read apparently. Intel's cores no longer match AMD's.

You lose. Not only that, you lose all your data every time you speculate, lol.

So Intel doesn't cherry pick their benchmarks?? LMAO
