All nope but many yes, expecially a low latency uniform access L3 like that of Zen 2

gondalf.. ok fine. then explain WHY intel didnt increase their cache sizes more then they have ?? lets see what bs you can come up with to explain that...

IO is on die now. The whole point of increasing cache sizes was to keep needed data close to the cores to avoid the latency penalty. Not needed for this monolithic die.

Holliday75 gondalf doesnt care.. he is certain zen2 gets most of its performance from the caches..

    Low performance = Intel now.

Go on, pay more for the privilege, fangirl.

No one will miss you in the real world!

It's easy post good number running at 25W + chipset power. They does the same with Ryzen Mobile 3000. But reviews said the truth.
At a core level right now Intel is well ahead. Zen 2 is a little obsolete after Sunny Cove
  • SolarBear28 - Tuesday, January 7, 2020 - link

Zen 2 and Sunny Cove are within 5-10% of each other on IPC and frequency, so neither is obsolete.

umm dont you mean ryzen mobile 4000 ?? or are you trying to prove your point in a way that favors your beloved intel ?
  • Korguz - Wednesday, January 8, 2020 - link

gondalf.. shut up already.. INTEL is the one that NEEDS clock speed now... not amd. and cache sizes does not increase ipc as much as you keep trying to claim...

Ah, I see the idea here. Everything that AMD's CPUs need to perform well is what Intel's CPUs have now; when Intel have different things, then those will be the things AMD need to perform well, but none of the things AMD ever has will ever allow their CPUs to perform well and Intel never need to learn anything from them.

    Gondalf logic!
