VIA Apollo Pro 133/133A Motherboard Roundup - February 2000

This is where we noticed the largest difference between motherboards. At the top of the list we have the two Gigabyte motherboards that score a full 42 fps than the slowest ASUS P3V4X in this test. The fact that there is such a large difference between motherboards in this test is inexcusable, motherboard manufacturers that performed below average here (if we consider the Shuttle AV64 to be average) need to seriously work on improving the performance of their Apollo Pro 133/133A implementations. Kudos to Gigabyte, Tyan, ECS and Shuttle for providing an example to follow.
