In the process of describing new features for the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, the comments on one of the slides let slip that Huawei is set to announce a new Matebook this November. One of the features, according to the slides for the Mate 20 Series, is a single button sharing with the Mate 20 series phones in order to share 1000 photos in two seconds. The side showed what looked like a regular Matebook, not the Matebook X, so it could be that thee new laptop is set to be a standard Matebook replacement, but information about the new laptop is set going to be upcoming. We'll keep our ears to the ground for more information.

Huawei's previous Matebook launch, the Matebook X Pro, was announced earlier this year with an Intel CPU and an NVIDIA GTX GPU. You can read our review here

This doesn't look like an Matebook X Pro replacement, so you might be ok. Reply

How much did you pay for this super thin underperforming design? Reply

I’ve been in the market for a new laptop for a while. Looking for something to replace my Dell Precision M4700. Watching the Huawei hype and scouting for updates relevant to the UK, has been a long wait and yet still nothing officially launching in the UK. I’m not buying on a whim or everyone’s positive review, but will wait for the best laptop to arrive before Feb19. Seems they shouted too early in some markets... Reply

Patiently awakting possible news on new Ryzen laptop from Huawei, since they seem to make the best ones around, excluding Thinkpads since I haven't seen a solid review on those and the reputation of the line. Reply

One thing I don't understand is if there's an Apple company on the market where you can buy the cheapest MacBook air 13-inch laptop for less than a thousand dollars. I read https://papercheap.co.uk/blog/post/cv-writing-tips that this laptop will be more expensive and not the fact that the quality? Reply
