This is turning out to be a weekend of stuff not working - 3 test beds are running fine, but the most important one is having a bit of an issue with memory compatibility. Does anyone know of a place where I can find registered DDR400 DIMMs in or around the CT area?

    ChineseDemocracyGNR:
What do you mean by discontinued?
The WN-2S+ didn't hit the street yet.

I heard the talk about buffers on board. I'm not shure if it's the case. Maybe it's like with the AMD MPX dual-chipset For Athlon where you can use unbuffered in max two slots or buffered in them all.

#10, the reason you get the Newegg items in a day is because they ship out of La Puente, where Newegg is HQ'd.

I think he wanted to get the memory as soon as possible. Newegg will obviously have what he is looking for in stock, but I think he can't wait that long. Regardless, it looks like he has found a solution.

    Hey Anand-

I usually get my stuff from newegg.com. I know they ship it from jersey, and they usually get it to me here in Cali a day early or so. I dont know what they have in stock, but you might want to check them out.

Okay, Anand, I found you some registered memory in your area by using pricewatch.com.

    http://www.hardcorecooling.us/index.asp?PageAction...

The company is called Hard Core Cooling.com and they are located at

    http://www.hardcorecooling.us/
    110 Mountain Rd., 2nd Floor
    Suffield, CT 06078
    860-668-1239

The link I provided should go directly to a page with a matched pair of registered DIMMs. I hope that helps.
