What's cooking

The Thanksgiving break was definitely worth it and I wouldn't have traded it for anything, but it also guaranteed that I'd come back to a stack of work a mile high. So what's cooking right now?

Derek and I are working on our review of a new high end GPU that you'll see tomorrow morning. Derek is also working on a roundup of shipping GeForce 6600GT cards that you'll see sometime next week.

Wes has been working hard on a thorough 915 roundup and the fruits of his labor will hopefully be live by the end of this week.

Another very exciting article is coming later this week as well, it will be the first article by that new author I mentioned a little while back. I'll do a more formal blog about the new author later but as many of you have heard he is none other than Johan De Gelas.

Once my commitment to tomorrow's review is done and over with I can get back to focusing on the Half Life 2 CPU scaling article that I talked about earlier. I've got some pretty good ideas for this article, it'll be a lot of work but it'll be worth it. Then once I've got Half Life 2 out of the way I'll have a couple of Mac things to work on and I'll be able to finally focus on HDDs for a little bit.

There you have it, AT in a nutshell - now back to work.

Take care

woo hoo, I was hoping for some hdd reviews, I'm really curious how ncq works out in raid 0

those maxline III drives are really appealing (before anyone tells me how maxtor drives blow up or fail more often than home-made pipebombs, I've have 5 of them and never had a problem)
