Dell XPS M1730: SLI, Penryn, and Overclocking

1920x1200 FPS Gaming Performance

Given that this is the native resolution of the display and that we're testing what is currently the fastest gaming notebook on the planet (more or less), we will start by focusing on performance at 1920x1200. NVIDIA also provided us with an updated driver, but it is still in beta and it won't be publicly available for a bit longer. We'll include results from both the shipping driver (167.55) as well as the beta driver (174.20), and we'll look at the performance of the M1730 at other resolutions on the next page. We test in the same manner on all notebooks, but we don't have results at 1920x1200 on many of the previously tested systems. We also have a couple new gaming benchmarks where we only have results from the M1730 right now, but these charts will fill out as we test additional notebooks in the future.
