Unreal Tournament 2003 looks incredible at 1280x1024 but even the fastest GeForce4 dips below 60 fps when running at this resolution. For smooth gameplay you're going to want to either turn down some of the detail settings or stick to 1024x768.

Turning down the details definitely helps, but it really only makes 1280x1024 a reasonable resolution for the cards that are already pretty fast.
