ASUS Introduces T100: Bay Trail based 2-in-1 Tablet

ASUS CEO Jerry Shen just pre-announced the ASUS T100, a Bay Trail 2-in-1 tablet (dockable) with up to 11 hours of battery life. Think Transformer goes Intel. I believe we just saw the first Bay Trail design win.

What is the screen size?Re "first Bay Trail design win" -- didn't Toshiba announced the 8" Encore Win8.1 tablet last week with Bay Trail?

Yup, it actually comes with the keyboard dock... Though, no secondary battery in the dock but the 31WHr battery in the tablet is pretty large for a 10.1" (Surface RT has a 30WHr and it's a 10.8" for comparison) and they're claiming it will still get about 11 hours and that should be plenty for most people...Especially, since like many ARM tablets it supports Always Connected Standby and very efficient power sipping to the point you can probably only need to charge it every few days to once a week or so, depending on usage... it won't drain significantly when not being used like traditional x86 devices...
The dock also provides a USB 3.0 port as added bonus...
The Z3740 isn't as powerful as the Z3770 Anandtech benchmarked but it still averages double Clover Trail... PCMag ran a CPU intensive test on it and it finished in about half the time the same test completed on a Clover Trail tablet...
