  I am unhappy to notice that since the 68xx series AMD has decided to cut Dual Link DVI ports.
  
  There is not a single AMD card after the 68xx with 2 Dual link DVI ports.
  
  And they will dare to char $500+ for this handicapped power sucker.
  
  The old 4870x2 offered up to 4 ( FOUR!!!!) dual link DVI ports, and now i am supossed to pay more and receive less?
  
  And to add insult to injury, i bet that the 6990 will cost more than the Geforce 580.
  
  it is not to late for AMD to realize this mistake and bundle a ton of Display port adapters, including at least a single D-DVI.

  I saw the review on the 6xx series GPU line. I can't say it gave me any incentive to upgrade from my HD 5870 CF set up. There is hardly anything anything to gain. I would wager that this HD 6990 is going to be another disappointment.
