We haven't lost one Surface device to over heating. Reply

We've lost every surface device we've bought over the years to battery failure, made premature by excessive heat. Reply

You will lose them to battery degradation, eventually. A battery usually degrades 20% or so after 2-3 years of regular use (1 charge per day), and when the time comes to swap them out, get ready to pay exorbitant prices charged by Microsoft, or do it yourself and risk cracking the fragile glass display, not to mention having to remove every single component (mobo etc.) just to access the battery AND the copious amounts of glue Reply

Avoid this. The Core i5 in the 11th gen Surface Pro 7+ is faster than the i7 in the 10th gen Surface pro 7. Possibly consider buying the Surface Pro 7+, instead, as it features a replaceable SSD (I replaced mine with a 1tb from a CalDigit Tuff Nano drive).

It also has a much better iGPU, as well as improved battery life.

Ew, Intel graphics. If this had an AMD APU, maybe, but intel? I'm not paying $1000+ for anything intel based. Reply

    "Ew, Intel graphics."

I will remember your name just to disregard all of your future comments. Unless you're trying to improve the numbers on a VEGA FOREVER meme on meme economy, then let me know.
