Right now Samsung Advance and Beam + Sony Xperia U + Xperia P has been revealed. Earlier mid 2011, ST-Ericsson blurted out that it will soon try to provide Nokia with Novothor series of chipsets for future Windows phones.... Looks like a market to grow from the relatively unknown position as of today. Reply
Though in the mid-end area. Looks like the first integrated chipsets NovaThor that can functionally match the Qualcomm MSMs (with integrated LTE/HSPA+ radios) in functionality. Surprised to see PowerVR substitute for Mali though... I do not see GPS as one of the features which is surprising. Perhaps, Anand forgot to pen it.
Anand, any update on the "Rogue" series which will be ST-E's Cortex A15 implementation?
Also first non AMD/non IBM fabbed chip in FD-SOI? Well, let us see if ST-E has a smooth implementation so that AMD can use ST-E as a fab for its server MPUs. They are a part of the IBM consortium and hence AMD can use them with minimal changes compared to shift to TSMC/UMC. ;-) Reply

"" The baseband supports LTE (FDD/TFF)"Guessing that should be TDD not TFF. Reply
