This Just In: G.Skill Giveaway Goodies

Before the new site launched I demoed a new feature I'd been toying with called This Just In. The idea is to give you guys a quick glance at what I'm working on (and eventually what the entire team is working on) as soon as something new arrives at our doorsteps.
I'll admit that there have been a few things that have arrived since my last post, however all of them are under NDA at this point. I do have good news though, more giveaways are coming.
I asked our ad reps to see if any of their clients wanted to provide any giveaways to commemorate the new site launch. G.Skill was eager to show their appreciation for you all and dropped off a big box of goodies to give away.
I haven't inventoried it all yet, nor have I decided how we're going to give it away but expect more details next week :) And congrats to our AMD/Lenovo giveaway winner Scott T. from Syracuse, NY. Scott and I have already been in communication and AMD is working hard to get him his brand new ThinkPad X100e asap!

Good on G.Skill, I'll definitely place them at the top of my list for my next build. Hope the others choose to jump in too.I personally have bought products from companies who do this over those who don't to thank them for doing so. No, I haven't won anything yet I just think it's good business.

I have been using G.skill exclusively since 2006 and they haven't let me down yet (knock on wood, lol). Great products at fair prices...G.skill is my go-to brand when looking for memory and my top recommendation when putting together builds. I hope G.skill always keeps its current marketing strategy of providing a great product for a reasonable price, unlike some of their competitors who charge a premium for their brand moniker.lamo - Monday, April 12, 2010 - link

Congrats Scott T.!Perhaps a silent giveaway should also be given to those, tweeters and forum/blog commentators that don't just participate when there are free giveaways. I, for one, learn from reading users posts in addition to the articles. Many of times the community here have listed other technology or things to keep in mind.
I'm just throwing the idea out there that those users that participate (when there aren't free giveaways), should be considered for a separate prize.
